[…] Harold let me know that the Princeton Russian course, which I had made a torrent file for, is now available as a zip file from freelanguagecourses.com. I can assure you from experience that getting it from that site will be 1) much faster and 2) much less hassle, than it would be if you got it via the torrent. You can locate the zip file link here; just pay attention to the stipulations for the download. (Basically, contact the creator and let him know you’re using it.) […]

Hi, I am having difficulties opening downloading this course. I have already sent the author the required email as per your instructions, but when I either 1.) click on the zip file link, the page comes up with a “taking too much time to respond” page or if I 2.) right-click the link for a direct download, none of the course content downloads at all.
Any suggestions?

Never mind, I was able to grab it after all, I just had to wait a few good hours until website traffic died down. Thanks again for the offering!

I can’t seem to download this course. It does the download and then says that the file cannot be read so it won’t even open it. It says the files are corrupt. I am familiar with zipped files so that’s not the trouble. I’ve emailed the owner but got no response.

Many thanks! Looks good. I downloaded the program but have a mac and am not sure it will work. It looks like a whole lot of html files and pdfs. Can anyone tell me if it will work on a mac or if I need to use a pc? If on a mac, how to get started? Thanks! Anne

HTML, PDF and MP3 files should work on any computer at all. Just double-click and they should open.
