i have been in germany for the first time. its a funny language. especially in bavaria. the people take life easy. it is not a country of workaholics as i had expected. now i am trying to learn this fascinating language. “auf wiedersehen!”

German is a very beautifully spoken language. When I first learned to speak it, it was because I’d discovered the intellectual and philosophical power the language concealed. Not to the Germans themselves but to foreigners, of which I am one.
The Germans filled the Almanacs in the 20th century from Physicist to Nuclear scientist to Medical Doctors.
Many were German Jews but German no less. And it was plain to see or understand that the language held a unique intellectual status among all languages, and even today still does.
It is worth learning for its esoteric value and charm. It will give you an insight first hand into a character type such as Adolf Hitler from a cultural point of view rather than just a historic one. To hear this Tyrant speak in clips from old documentaries during WWII, especially if you speak the German language and can understand what he is saying, gives
the sense of being German and feeling the same emotional highs and lows felt by native Germans when they lost the war in 1945.
Plus it will help anyone to advance in the sciences, which for some will be the most rewarding of all in knowing the language.
