Most of the audtio files are of amazingly good quality, especially if you take into account that the originals have been recorded in 1968 and that cassette tapes do deteriorate over such a long time span. So, thanks a lot for that work.
Only one file has a serious problem, namely Unit 19:
There must have been some encoding problem. It is impossible to play this file. Analyzing it with an audio program, I found that it is encoded as Stereo (although actually it is Mono) with the right channel consisting of noise only and the left channel consisting of the actual audio tape – but in double speed! I was able to down-sample it, but, of course, after these manipulations, the resulting quality is awful.
Who has posted these files? Do you still have the uncompressed versions of them?
Best regards, Martin
